Welcome to The Chanctonbury Chase, the newest event in The South Coast Series.

Set within the breathtaking surroundings of Wiston Estate, in the heart of the South Downs National Park, The Woods is unlike any other event in the South East.

Built around a scenic 10K loop, you'll choose your challenge—10K, Half Marathon, Marathon or the ultimate 100K. Every lap brings fresh determination, incredible views and an atmosphere that grows throughout the day.

Whether you're taking on your first trail race, chasing a marathon PB, or stepping up to your first ultra, The Chanctonbury Chase has been designed for runners of all abilities.

With regular aid stations, incredible support from fellow runners and spectators, and a welcoming event village, you'll never be far from the action.

The Chanctonbury Chase takes place within the beautiful surroundings of Wiston Estate, offering runners an unforgettable trail running experience through rolling hills, woodland tracks, estate roads and stunning South Downs scenery.

The event follows a fully marked 10K loop, allowing runners to choose from four distances:

• 10K – One Loop
• Half Marathon
• Marathon
• 100K

The looped format creates an incredible atmosphere throughout the day, with runners regularly passing through the Event Village where spectators can cheer them on before heading back out onto the course.

The course has been designed to combine challenging climbs with rewarding descents, showcasing everything that makes trail running in Sussex so special.

Whether you're aiming to complete your first trail event or take on the ultimate 100K challenge, The Chanctonbury Chase promises a memorable day on one of Sussex's most beautiful estates.
